Another round for “Daily routines”
The session opened with my group's intervention. Although both classes had the same topic, our class was focused on the skill of listening and the second group focused on the skill of reading. As always we opened with an icebreaker, William was in charge of leading the game called “Stop”. Then we moved on to the class content, where I broke down the importance, the different variations, and examples of a daily routine. Then we moved on with more practice, where Kim was in charge of leading the game “Hot Potato”, Nayeli was in charge of the evaluation segment, with fun audios and a written test. And finally our dear Emanuel was in charge of closing the class with his final activity which was called, “Exit Ticket” and his final remarks about the topic.
During our small break, we were able to eat a piece of yummy cake that the group of Regina brought to share with the class. On the second class, as an icebreaker, we used the letters of the alphabet to create a story with the class. Then, we sang a song at about the daily routine with the whole class, after that with the help of the teachers, we practiced our vocabulary by repeating sentences out loud. After this section, we played Kahoot with the class. For our evaluation section, we read a text and answer some questions. After that, we were able to work in groups and re-organize a text that was part of a story. And to finish this great class, we were able to sing along to Queen!
Thank you for reading, and see you next class! 😉
