Week XVIII

 


Last week we learned how to teach grammar/vocabulary, speaking, writing, receptive skills, etc. As part of the content, we also got to see some useful techniques like the “Jazz chants” in order to teach pronunciation. This technique uses simple English phrases and melody to trigger the memory of the user. It's a very useful type of drill if you have students that like music or if you're working with children.  Here we have Lic. Orlando, creating a chant called “Why is Emanuel coming late?” it was very funny.
