Week VIII

This week we started with a brand-new topic after a quick recap. We learned about the collaborative approach, and we did some activities as a group.

Collaborative Approach and Collaborative Activities

Collaborative activities are any activities where learners are working cooperatively in pairs or groups. For example:

  • Pair or group discussions.
  • Completing shared tasks in a pair or group, for example: matching, sorting, ranking.
  • Activities or games with a competitive element, for example: bingo.
  • Drama and role play.
  • Information exchange activities, including barrier games and jigsaw activities.

For everyone to understand better this topic, Lic. Orlando made us work in groups in order to discuss controversial topics, I was the moderator of my group. I opened with the topic selected by Lic. Orlando and I paid attention to what my peers said and took notes in order to provide feedback at the very end of the activity.

Here's Naye smiling along with Herbert lost in thought.
